They are mourning the loss of two lives, a fouryearold girl 34yearold ramone. One man is in custody and investigators are looking for several others involved in a horrific shooting. Police call it a gaining better a gang shooting. The intended target was ramone, but he wasnt the only one hurt. The two victims were in this area for two very different areas. Ramone worked at this motel when the shooting started. You can see its just a few steps away from this back office. Was october of 2012. A cab driver beaten badly in peninsula talking exclusively with abc7 news. Several people witnessed the attack walked by and did nothing to help. Abc7 News Reporter vic lee spoke with the victim and has his story tonight. Reporter february 15th just after midnight, 60yearold solomon solomon nyugen was celebrating valentines day but he did not want the full face shown. He came up to the cab saying he had drank a lot. Reporter he had a dress shirt in a pink or reddish tie. Told nyugen to go to geneva avenue and asked for specifics but he couldnt give any. I stopped asked can you give the address . Sleepy and drunk. I opened the door he run away and then i follow him. Please give me the fare. But he attacked me and then i almost. Reporter the dash camera keeps recording as a passenger knocks him to the ground outside the taxi. It was a brutal attack. You can see the man on top of nyugen repeatedly beating. Disaster. In fairfield, tiffany wilson, abc 7 news. Police arrested a man accused of trying to kidnap three girls on their way to high school. He faces charges of attempted kidnapping. The latest incident happened march 27th near hayward high school. The other two kidnap attempts were in february and march near tennyson high school.
