The newest burger joint in Toronto sold out on their very first day, proving we haven t grown tired of our obsession with beef patties on buns just yet.
Pigot s Burger Club comes to us from Alberta chef Mike Pigot (pronounced pee-jo ), an award-winning chef who s made TV appearances.
The delivery and takeout restaurant started out with an original location in Calgary and just opened a Toronto location on Wednesday in collaboration with Jerome Robinson, also known as The Heartbreak Chef, whose restaurant by that name is popular for loaded fried chicken sandwiches.

A new Canadian pizza chain has opened its very first location in Toronto, rolling out others across the country.
To call them locations is a bit of a misnomer, though: Pie Eyed Pizza is the country s latest delivery-only concept.
Serving Detroit-style rectangular pizzas as well as round ones, the chain s branding is distinguished by a bright blue eye set against a sunshine yellow colour field.
The chain was invented and is being operated by Craft Beer Market out of a desire to shift, like many restaurants and bars, to more of a takeout and delivery model.

This is something that Yash Sharma just learned the hard way after cooking in high-end hotels, on cruise lines, and at local restaurants, Sharma had a long-term dream of opening his own place. He knew that COVID-19 was going to be an issue as he planned to open his YYC Pasta Bar early this past fall, but delays pushed it to late November, right before the second pandemic-related restaurant shutdown in Alberta. His baby had chosen the most inopportune moment to make its debut.
