Lets get to that new Surveillance Video that we obtained from a laundry mat here in the area. You can see moments after this car hits the pole, the sparks flying. Then after that, you see that driver that police are trying to look for in a gray or white sweater with some dark pants running away. We do know according to Oakland Police that this crash took place around 5 30 a. M. That car was overturned when they showed up. There was a passenger who was stuck inside of it and sent to a hospital. Last time we checked, that passenger was in critical condition. I did get a chance to speak with a resident in the area who said the crash felt like an earthquake hit the area. She also said its common place for cars on this street to get into accidents.
