Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for May 5th, 2021. In today’s article, we’ve got a couple of news bits to check out before we fly right into the new releases for the day. Wednesdays aren’t usually too stacked for new games, but we’ve got six to check out. Beyond those summaries, we’ve got the usual lists of incoming and outgoing sales to look at. Let’s get on with it!

If there s two things Golden Week means to me since I don t live in Japan, it s Nintendo s fiscal year earnings are delayed and not a lot of releases . The big one is Skate City, as SkaterXL increasingly looks like vapourware on Switch and we still have a few months before the Hawk returns to Nintendo platforms. Other things of note: Raiden IV gets a kickin soundtrack on Switch in the shooter genre, and strategy title The Colonists is also due.

Three more Atelier games this week - is the entire series on Switch yet?
The headlining Dugtrio this week is not one, not two, but three Atelier games as Atelier Firis, Sophie, and Lydie & Suelle DX come to Switch all together. (Note that a bundle is available for them on discount where you d save $30 US or equivalent.) Someone call James. Other examples of old games coming to Switch in new ways is OH HAY LOOK SHANTAE as you can now avoid spending a Radiant Dawn on the original GBC Shantae (with optional GBA mode).

Raiden IV to Switch next year. stages and boss tracks which are reborn through live performances and new arrangements.
The artists involved include the likes of Go Sato Band, Heavy Metal Raiden, Fantom Iris, O.T.K., Soshi Hosoi, Daisuke Matsumoto (Cave), Hirokazu Koshio and Keishi Yonao. You ll be able to switch to the original music, if you so wish.
