almost inhabitable for anyone not wanting to fight. analysts say this is a win for isis, because it s driven out people who don t sympathize with the group and destabilized isis s enemies. it created friction within governments, and i think as isis looks at this, it s chaos. it s being played out hourly around the clock on television shows, so this is its it s a psychological and information victory, at least in the short run for isis. victory for isis and possibly another opportunity. with so many people streaming into europe, it is possible, and it s easier for isis to possibly infiltrate the my grant groups. they could struggle sympathizers, maybe even operatives into europe with those migrants. but you think or you ve heard this could actually turn around, maybe backfire? it could. analysts points out this could spur some european countries
over here, there s a bunch of posters and banners to say things like black lives matter, and stop deportation. it s a long list of grievance, if you will, that go beyond workers and labor rights. joining me is lena who is the i m sorry, i missed that, one of the workers of the group. what is the message you re trying to get out today? different groups are planning the meeting at union square. they are coming together as international immigrants, migrant groups, progressive labor unions, anti-national federation groups. reporter: you re asking people to walk off the job, this is a strike? yes, the message is to shut it down, strike. migrants, refugees and all workers. because migrants and refugees are directly impacted in the working class under trump s administration that are facing deportations, militarization.
removal operations are not uncommon. these raids are sparking a lot of anger and angst in a lot of cities. but we do know according to all the officials we ve heard from, within i.c.e., what s been the push-back from i.c.e. and the trump administration? we saw a pretty passionate protest take place outside the i.c.e. immigrant detention center in phoenix just earlier this week. what we ve seen is people frustrated. of them their frustration goes back to the obama administration. you recall many of these pro migrant groups, even developed a nickname for former president obama, the deporter in chief. it s important to point out that many of the concerns go back to the previous administration. but what we re seeing now under the trump administration. some of the cabinet members, clue including the secretary of homeland security, john kelly, is making clear what the operations are really all about.
