Jefferson City has extended its yard waste drop-off hours at its temporary site located at 708 Ellis Boulevard. It will now be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to noon on Sundays. It previously was only open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays and Sundays.
Breakthru Beverage Missouri and Jim Beam have partnered to offer a limited number of free rides home on Wednesday. From 2 p.m. on Wednesday, through 2 a.m. Thursday, free rides home through Lyft will be available to people in Columbia, St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield. Missourians can access the ride home, up to a $30 value, using the ride code BBGMOTHANKS23.
