Ronny Kaiser
Michel CrossfireX Dattani won the last two hands of the previous level, twice by betting the turn, and boosted his stack to more than two million in chips.
Elio Fox then raised to 132,000 from an early position, which was matched by Ronny Kaiser out of the big blind. The flop fell and Kaiser checked, Fox bet 88,500 and earned another call. That led to the turn and Kaiser checked once more. Fox now bet 390,000 into 531,000 and Kaiser activated his time bank.
After nearly 90 seconds, Kaiser jammed for almost 1.5 million, and now it was up to Fox to utilize the additional time. Some two minutes passed and Fox made the call with the superior stack.
Ronny Kaiser, who just took down
GGSF Event H-57: $25,500 Super High Roller a few days ago, also made the cut and will return with a stack of 21 blinds. Ioannis Angelou-Konstas ended up as the bubble boy when he ran with kings into aces and Darren Elias became the final casualty of the night.
The Action of the Day
More than 50 players were seated when the cards went in the air and the action was fast-paced from the get-go. Christian Rudolph became the first of many casualties and the list of notables on the rail kept growing during the registration period. Especially Wiktor Malinowski and Artur Martirosian were eliminated multiple times. There was no happy end for Malinowski as he was eliminated prior to the money bubble by Daniyar Aubakirov.
Kuznetsov vs Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski fully assumed control and open-jammed three times to collect the blinds and antes. Michel CrossfireX Dattani won the blinds and antes with an open-jam, too.
Matthew Nator Hyman min-raised to 240,000 and Badziakouski three-bet to 552,000, earning the pot right there.
Badziakouski then raised to 240,000 and Elio Fox piled it in for just shy of 2.5 million
Timothy Kuznetsov eventually jammed his tiny stack from the small blind and was called by Badziakouski.
