Mike Ernest ready to assume new position.

The Times-Reporter Michael J. Ernest took the Oath of Office before outgoing Judge Edward Emmett O’Farrell Monday in the courtroom that as of Jan. 2 will be Judge-Elect Ernest’s. The event was witnessed by many family members, many of whom were present via videoconference.   Judge-Elect Ernest said that he is looking forward to continuing the court’s tradition of dispensing fair and prompt justice for our local citizens. “I look forward to starting my duties as a Common Pleas Judge. I know that many of the pandemic procedures and restrictions will need to continue as I take office, but I plan to continue to operate the court in the same fair and efficient manner as was carried out by Judge O Farrell.”
