After less than three years of development, Smartshooter has reached the final milestone of the Individual Weapon Overmatch Optic (IWOO) program, successfully passing the system’s Technology Readiness Review (TRR). Detectives identified Kendall Angram as the supply source for various controlled substances associated with the overdoses and were able to identify numerous individuals associated with Angram’s drug trafficking organization. As a result of the search warrants executed late last week, detectives located and seized quantities of cocaine, heroin/fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, MDMA/Ecstasy. Detectives also seized $12,000 in cash as well as seven firearms.
