Crash that killed a 16yearold. Kevin sand was heading to Lincoln High School friday morning when a speeding suv rearended his familys mini van. This afternoon, we learned the driver of the suv has been booked on a charge of vehicle manslaughter, not involving drugs or alcohol, with gross negligence. Earlier this morning, about 20 of kevins friends came to the corner where he died to pay respects. Kevin was a member of the junior rotc drum corp at lincoln high.
