Michael Makhoul has resigned as Dieruff High School's principal effective April 30. Melissa Petronio will continue serving as acting principal the rest of the school year.
The driver of a van that hit and killed Dieruff High School teacher’s aide Angela Yowakim on a rainy morning outside the school in was charged with only summary offenses after a six-week investigation by the Lehigh County district attorney’s office.
