A woman was fatally struck by a car early Wednesday morning outside the General Electric Aviation building at 1000 Western Ave.Lynn Police and firefighters arrived to the scene at approximately 6 a.m. responding to a 911 call.District Fire Chief Joseph Zukas said witnesses told first responders they saw a woman who appeared to be in her 30s or 40s struck by an oncoming vehicle while she crossed the street outside GE.An MBTA bus driver, who spoke under the condition that his name be omitted from this article said that at approximately 6 a.m. he saw the victim lying on the ground in the middle of the street with another woman kneeling beside her.
