Worcester, Mass. New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo made the start of what appears to be a very quick stop with Syracuse on Thursday night in Worcester.
Nimmo is on the major league injured list with a left index finger bone bruise, and was assigned to Syracuse earlier in the day. He went 0-for-3 in Syracuse’s 7-4 loss at Worcester, playing three innings in centerfield.
