The former chief of the Thunder Bay Police Service is facing charges of obstructing a public or peace officer, breach of trust, and obstruction of justice following an investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police.
A former police chief in the northern Ontario city of Thunder Bay was arrested and charged on Friday, marking the third arrest in an ongoing investigation by provincial police into allegations of misconduct at the force.
Holly Walbourne served as the in-house lawyer for the Thunder Bay Police Service until April 2023 and is now facing obstruction and breach of trust charges.
