Now, his parents are by his side along with his favorite nurse. Family members say he severed his spinal cord and cannot walk despite his life changing injuries. Storm clouds are moving in over lake tahoe and the region is preparing for treacherous conditions, not seen in years travel warnings are being issued, but still, people from the bay area are making that trek to the mountains. The closures on the westbound direction, and they are turning traffic around at kingsville. And thats because of a big rig that flipped over. That happened in 9 00 this morning. The chp does not expect to open this part of interstate 80 until 1 00 or later. This afternoon.
