Virtual reality bringing opera to aged care homes during COVID-19
The Melba Opera Trust has used virtual reality to bring an opera performance into an aged care home. Just like music therapy, it s hoped the VR performance will help stimulate memory in people living with dementia. It has also provided a rare performance opportunity for opera singers who have been unable to perform for most of the year.
