JOHOR BARU, Oct 2 Two temporary evacuation centres (PPS) were opened in Johor involving the Pontian and Kluang districts following two hours of heavy rain since 10am.
JOHOR BARU: The number of flash flood victims in Pontian district has dropped to 51 individuals from 11 families as at 8am after a relief centre was closed on Thursday (May 5).
PONTIAN: The number of flood victims in Pontian has increased significantly to 168 victims on Thursday (May 5) morning, compared to only 19 victims the evening before.
JOHOR BARU: A total of 32 people from two families in Mersing were forced to take shelter at a temporary relief centre (PPS) after their homes were engulfed by fire on Wednesday (May 4) night.
