As Nigeria Army Officers Wife Association (NAOWA) in Birnin-Kebbi joins other women associations across the country to celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day celebration, a call has gone to women to be disciplined and take care of their homes on behalf of their husbands who have laid down their lives in defence of Nigeria.
This call was made by Mrs Nafisat Abubakar Saki, founder/CEO of Zaki Gem Support Foundation, as a guest lecturer at the event put together by NAOWA to mark the day at the 1 Battalion Nigeria Army, Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State.
She urged officers’ wives to be entrepreneurs to be able to take care of their homes while their husbands are out there defending their fatherland.
