Former police officer Derek Chauvin has been found guilty of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the killing of 46-year-old Black man George Floyd.  After deliberating for roughly 10 hours, the 12-panel jury s verdict was delivered by Judge Peter Cahill at roughly 5:05pm ET (9:05am NZ time). Chauvin, 45, has been convicted of three offences, the most serious being second-degree unintentional felony murder.
