(WMBF) - According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, seasonal flu activity is lower than usual this year. For the week ending Jan. 23, only one state reported a “moderate” level of cases. South Carolina reported a “minimal” level. That’s compared to the week ending Jan. 25 during this same time period in 2020. At that time, South Carolina reported a “very high” level of influenza cases.
