Migration Brewing is doing it again.
The Portland-based brewery, for a second time during the COVID-19 pandemic, is bucking the contraction trend and will open a new pub, this one in the former space of Hopworks Urban Brewery’s Bike Bar in North Portland.
Migration Brewing on Williams, at 3947 N. Williams St. in the EcoFlats building, is expected to open in early March after a six-week renovation and will include an almost 3,000-square-foot pub and 2,000-square-foot patio in back, plus sidewalk seating out front.

The owners of the soon-to-be 11-year-old brewery announced today that they will open their first North Portland venue in the space that once housed Hopworks Urban Brewery s pub on Williams Avenue. Most of the existing bar and kitchen infrastructure will remain in place, but the 3,000-square-foot interior is getting a bit of a makeover that is scheduled to take about six weeks.
