Before being served to customers, the original McFlurry spoon s hollow handle was attached to McDonald s ice cream makers to mix the delicacy. All burger restaurants in the country will use reusable spindles that can be cleaned and replaced by the end of October.
The restaurant's solution is apparently still plastic, but just less plastic with the spoon being swapped out for a smaller option and a reusable mixer.
