faces a critical decision on student loans. we know august 31st is a date that many people are waiting to hear something from. we ve been talking daily about this, and i can tell you that the american people will hear within the next week or so. but up first, a federal judge in plain english delivers a rebuke of donald trump and his legal defenders. the facts are reliable. those words came from judge bruce reinhart in a new court order this morning and it makes clear that the judge views that the affidavit that was used to justify the unprecedented search of mar-a-lago as iron clad. that order also coming as the justice department is now deciding what it wants to keep out of public view, including sensitive information about witnesses and steps into its investigation into former president trump. let s get straight to kat katelyn polantz for more. why did the judge decide to put out this new filing today and what is the significance coming ahead of this all-important deadl
part of the deal that was done was that known of those dps troopers were the ones that were at the scene on may 24th. and so far they will be in place over the course of the next year. it s my understanding that the school district will begin a re-interview, retooling, reinventing process over the next several months to try to bring in a new set of officers, have people re-interview those that were not there and so i think that it s a good step in the right direction but there is, as i said, plenty of work yet to do. senator, i just that 24th of may changed so much for so many people and still a wound that continues to just lead from what happened there. i m just wondering, senator, what accountability looks like in those families eyes and in your eyes? jose, when you go into 137

massacre. what can you tell me about that? it is very difficult. we are seeing, in the words of the parents and also the students that the children who are saying in their own words, we do not have confidence in law enforcement. even if they are there, will they do the right thing? can we trust them. and many of them are saying that they do not feel as though they have that trust. and look jonathan, with regard to other security measures that were in place, including locked doors and security cameras, we know that at the end of the day, what was in place, that they, may 24th, did not stop what happened. so that is the reason so many of these parents and community members in uvalde remain focused on trying to get the government to do something with regard to gun reform. and tony, do you know, will there be, counselors, and other things, at the school, on
