Robert Dahlgren shines in wet afternoon session at Knutstorp

2019 STCC TCR Scandinavia champion Robert Dahlgren topped a very wet afternoon test session at Knutstorp, lapping the Ring Knutstorp circuit in 1:10.437.
The PWR Racing driver beat team-mate Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky by 0.562 seconds, with Lynk & Co 03 TCR driver Mattias Andersson third, 0.606 seconds from Dahlgren.
Andreas Ahlberg was fastest of the Volkswagen drivers in fourth for Kågered Racing ahead of team-mate Hugo Nerman, 0.915 and 0.946 seconds behind respectively.
Oliver Söderström, who topped the dry session yesterday, was sixth fastest ahead of Brink Motorsport’s Lukas Sundahl in seventh, 1.250 seconds from the top.

Brink Motorsport drivers Tobias Brink and Lukas Sundahl topped the morning STCC TCR Scandinavia test session that was held at a wet Ring Knutstorp circuit.
The Audi duo set their lap times early in the session before the rain increased in strength, with no improvements seen for the remainder of the session.
Brink headed his team-mate by just below a second, with Kågered Racing driver Andreas Ahlberg third, 1.9 seconds from P1.
Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky put her PWR Racing prepared Cupra León Competición in fourth position, with Oliver Söderström fastest of the Lestrup Racing Team drivers in fifth.
Oliver Söderström and Rob Huff tops first STCC test of 2021 at Knutstorp

Lestrup Racing Team drivers Oliver Söderström and Rob Huff topped the first of two official STCC TCR Scandinavia pre-season test days at Ring Knutstorp.
Reigning champion Huff topped the time sheets initially but was beaten by team-mate Söderström by three tenths of a second. And the duo were alone in setting sub-one minute times with their Volkswagen Golf GTI TCRs, 59.6 and 59.9 respectively.
Mattias Andersson, who has switched from Honda to Lynk & Co for 2021, was third fastest, 0.706 seconds from Söderström, with PWR Racing driver Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky fourth, 0.817 seconds from P1.

Mattias Andersson and team MA:GP has unveiled an orange livery ahead of the 2021 STCC TCR Scandinavia season.
“I am happy with the result, it’s the first time ever that we run orange and Peter Mild Design has done a great job,” said Andersson.
“We are going to perform a first test at Mantorp Park later this week and I am really looking forward to get to know this car,” said Andersson.
“We have a lot of work ahead of us and it’s going to be interesting to compare it with the cars that we have raced in previous years.”
