Officers went door-to-door Tuesday in High Point, to try and foster a partnership with the community. Officers said relationships are critical, to stopping the violence Violence needs to stop, Lt. BJ MacFarland of High Point police said.
The number of homicides in the city of High Point is on the rise. So far this year, there have been 10 homicides. That is compared to 3 at this time last year. There were a total of 19 homicides in 2019.
