Storage yard to become The site of the new car wash A storage yard will become a car wash, after plans submitted by Adams Motors were approved by the council this week. The site at 187-189 Cardiff Road will become home to a car wash, two containers for storage and car sales. The car wash will be under a canopy towards the front of the site and aims to service three-to-four cars per hour at 15 to 20 minute intervals. One container will be along the back of the site, used as storage for car parts, tyres and tools. The other container will be used as a site office and this will be next to the site entrance.

Arlington Police: Man faces manslaughter, assault charges after wrong-way crash kills 1, injures 2

Updated: 9:03 PM CDT May 6, 2021 ARLINGTON, Texas A man is facing intoxication manslaughter and assault charges after a wrong-way crash killed one person and injured two others early Thursday morning, the Arlington Police Department says.  Around 2:52 a.m., Arlington police officers responded to the crash in the 4900 block of Matlock Road.   Police said a car driven by 21-year-old Bronson Kibler was traveling north on Matlock Road when it crossed over the median, struck a light pole, and continued driving north in the southbound lanes before striking another car head-on. Police said there were two passengers in Kibler’s car, a 22-year-old woman identified as Jamayiah Lazada Sargent, and an infant. Police said Sargent was pronounced dead at the scene, and the baby was unharmed and released to relatives.

Police said the crash occurred just before 3 a.m. Thursday in the 4900 block of Matlock Road, near Bardin Road, when a northbound vehicle driven by Bronson Everett Kibler Jr. crossed the median and went into the southbound lanes. The vehicle hit a light pole, then continued north until it struck another vehicle head-on.
