OTHELLO – After back-to-back seasons placing third in the 2A Boys Mat Classic, the Othello Huskies bring in a team of 75 wrestlers into the 2023-24 season, aiming for yet another high finish at the state tournament.
ROYAL CITY – Looking to build off of last year’s third-place finish at the Girls 1B/2B/1A/2A Mat Classic, the Royal Knights enter this season with a bigger roster of 28 wrestlers, growing from last year’s team of 16 athletes.
EPHRATA – The Tigers enter this winter with 55 wrestlers on the mats this season, led by first-year Head Coach Joe Knox.

MOSES LAKE – Many athletes spend time over the summer working on their craft – that’s no different for Moses Lake sophomore Reese Prescott, who placed sixth at last month’s 2023 USA Wrestling 16U National Championships in Fargo, North Dakota.
“To even place at Fargo, I felt really cool and (I was) happy and excited about it,” Prescott said. “I went to this big tournament, I ended up placing. You look at your teammates around you and some of them are cheering you on and everyone’s still there – I just thought it was really cool.”
