Pony Canyon Schedules 'SSSS.Gridman' Anime Blu-ray Box Set Release

© Tsuburaya Pro / TRIGGER / Tetsu Amemiya The fall 2018 anime series SSSS.Gridman is getting its home video releases handled by Pony Canyon and they’ve set a good schedule for it. We’re now a couple of days away from the fourth and final volume coming out on March 20th, 2019 and we’ve got a look at some great artwork for it! The twelve-episode series originally saw a four-volume release that began on December 19th, 2018. The DVDs and Blu-rays were both priced at 8,000 yen each. Now, the full series is getting a single box set collection on Blu-ray priced for 9,800 yen, or just a bit more than one volume of the previous run. The main difference? No DVD version is being made and you don’t get the drama CDs.

Eleven Arts Debuts 'Shirobako' Anime Feature Film Trailer

© 2020 SHIROBAKO The Movie Production Committee The Shirobako anime feature film is lined up for a January 8th, 2021 Japanese home video debut but there’s something that’s come up for the film ahead of that. Distributor Eleven Arts previously picked up the rights to the film in North America and they’ve now added their official trailer for it to their channel to check out. It’s still being listed for a limited theatrical 2021 debut with no details to be had yet. Tsutomu Mizushima directed it working from a screenplay by Michiko Yokote. Ponkan8 is serving as the character designer with the production company Infinite involved.
