Welcome to the Clark School and at the university of maryland. My name is dara rowland. Im a proud senior here. I plan to graduate this spring with a Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering. Im honored to address you all here this afternoon. It feels exciting to speak here in my favorite building on campus. Our Clark Engineering School has shown me my perspective and ideas are valuable. Im dedicated to making sure the next generation of leaders will always see engineers that look like them as they grow up. After i graduate, im excited to drive change towards sustainability in the automotive Manufacturing Industry im proud to be part of the shift towards electrification and our mnu and our american manufacturing system. Im eager to live in a world where cars run on batteries, Vehicle Charging stations are found everywhere, and environmentally stable transportation is normalized and affordably available to all.
