State’s Attorney Jaymi Sterling announced that a St. Mary’s County jury convicted Randy Thomas Dindlebeck, 27, of Mechanicsville, MD, on all counts, including sex abuse of a minor and third-degree sex offense, stemming from multiple incidents of sexual abuse on the same child between July and September 2021.
State’s Attorney Jaymi Sterling said, “No child should ever undergo this horror, and I sincerely hope the verdict provides closure and relief to the victim and family. My office will continue prosecuting these cases vigorously; we are committed to defending our children.” Sterling went on to say, “These types of cases are difficult and complicated, and I want to extend my thanks and appreciation to the jury for their time and attention during the trial.”

On Monday, Governor Wes Moore signed State’s Attorney Jaymi Sterling’s legislative initiative, “The St. Mary’s County – Transfer of Child Support Unit and Personnel to the Child Support Administration Bill (HB 526)” into law.
A St. Mary’s County jury convicted Wayne Carroll Key, Jr., 43, of Lexington Park, Maryland of first degree murder of a child and her mother stemming from the November 2021 killing of both victims.

Angela Evelyn Brown joined our Lord on Friday, January 15, 2021. Angela was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 25, 1936 as the only child of Albert D. Perce and Evelyn Byrne Pearce. She was educated in the Catholic school system in the Baltimore area. She was a graduate The Institute of Notre Dame High School. As a side note, Senator Barbara Mikulski was a homeroom classmate. Angela was a parish member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lexington Park, Maryland.
Although she was a resident of Lexington Park, Maryland, she was recently living at the Solomons Nursing and Rehab Center in Solomons, Maryland. Angela is survived by her husband, Captain Donald L. Brown, USN (Ret) of Lexington Park; her daughter Deborah B. Radivo and son-in-law Nick A. Radivo of Centreville, Maryland. She is predeceased by her 9 year old daughter, Barbara E. Brown; her parents of Baltimore; her mother and father in law, Hazel and Nelson Chub
