A new healthy-eating app for pregnant women has been launched by the National Maternity Hospital (NMH).
Called Hollestic, the app provides access to 100 healthy, easy-to-use recipes approved by researchers at the Perinatal Research Centre, University College Dublin, and NMH dietitians.
With two-thirds of women attending Holles Street saying they search online to find information about nutrition in pregnancy,
Prof Fionnuala McAuliffe, Director of the UCD Perinatal Research Centre and Consultant Obstetrician at the NMH, said the technology would be a valuable resource for all pregnant women.
