Gen Joshua Dogonyaro saying the deceased was a professional who gave patriotic service to the country. Wuyep, a Tarok by tribe just like the deceased noted that General Dogonyaro, a former ECOMOG Commander served not just the country but the West African subregion meritoriously while Jang, a former Military officer added the deceased was a father and mentor to all military officers from his Plateau State and beyond and Useni, a member of the erstwhile ‘Tarok Mafia’ stated, he was a courageous officer who made success in every operation he commanded.

Those so appointed are Maj-Gen. Lucky E.O. Irabor as Chief of Defence Staff (CDS); Maj-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru as Chief of Army Staff (COAS); Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo as Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) and Air-Vice Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao as Chief of Air Staff (CAS).

Ex-CAS: Isiaka Amao will do well as Chief of Air Staff February 1, 2021 Former Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Jonah Wuyep (rtd), has expressed confident that the new military service chiefs appointed recently by President Muhammadu Buhari will succeed in their assignments and work assiduously to tackle insecurity in the country. Wuyep, who spoke with journalists in Jos, Plateau State, said he particularly had so much confidence in the new Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air-Vice Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao. According to him, ‘’Amao is a brilliant and outstanding officer who would do well as the Chief of Air Staff. He is a dedicated professional with the requisite experience for the job.”
