Upper Thumb sees 21 new COVID cases

UPPER THUMB There were 21 new coronavirus cases and no new deaths reported in the Upper Thumb by the state Jan. 20.
According to the state, Huron County saw an increase of three cases, bringing the county to 1,479 confirmed cases and 52 deaths.
Testing data showed Huron County saw a test positivity rate of 3.8% Jan. 19, with four positive tests out of 105 tests processed.
Tuscola County saw eight new cases reported, bringing the county to 2,597 confirmed cases and 106 deaths.
Testing data showed Tuscola County saw a rate of 6%, with 10 positive tests out of 166 processed.
Sanilac County saw an increase of 10 confirmed cases and a decrease of one death, bringing the county total to 1,610 confirmed cases and 65 deaths.
