2021 Classic Boat & Engine Rendezvous to be held May 14-16

It looks like a great weekend for The Heartland Classics Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society’s 2021 Classic Boat & Engine Rendezvous on Lake of the Ozarks at Margaritaville Lake Resort this weekend, May 14 -16th.
Event chairman, Mark Engstrom, wants to stress that this event will include a free to the public show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 15th at the resort. Engstrom said, “We will have more than thirty boats between those in the water and those displayed on land, plus classic motors. We’ll have boats made by Chris Craft, Thompson, Century, Lyman, Hackercraft, Garwood, Owens, Glastron and Larson and many others. The weather for this weekend looks great and it’s a good time to get outside and look over the boats and talk to their captains.”

Construction begins on Grocery Outlet in Paradise
The new Grocery Outlet will bring in 30 new jobs in the community.

PARADISE, Calif. Renovation and construction has started for a new Grocery Outlet at the former site of CVS, located at 6800 Skyway Road, Paradise.
The opening of the Paradise Grocery Outlet will also be creating 30 new jobs in the community, according to town officials.
The store is expected to open in fall of 2021.
“After years of devastation and the loss of the original Grocery Outlet store, followed by rebuilding, we are excited to bring Grocery Outlet back to the town of Paradise,” Mark Engstrom of Engstrom Properties said.

Gripped by scandal in the summer of 2018, CBS came up with a way to contain the crisis.

Lawyers with those high-caliber firms promised “a thorough and independent inquiry.” They invited CBS employees to report “sexual harassment, retaliation or the unfair treatment of women,” according to their Aug. 15, 2018, email.
Margaret Cronan said the message filled her with “tremendous relief.” A year earlier, she had walked away from a prestigious, high-paying position running the newsroom at CBS’ Philadelphia TV station a job she loved but could no longer stomach.
