Dianne Feinstein might lie about nearly everything related to firearms and gun control, but when she says she is going to introduce another gun ban she is generally telling the truth. Such was the case on Thursday when Feinstein, along with fellow gun-ban advocate U.S. Rep. David Cicilline, D-Rhode Island, introduced what they call the “Assault Weapons Ban.” It is, of course, not that at all rather, a ban on most popular semi-automatic rifles used legally and safely by millions of Americans for sport shooting, competition, self-defense and hunting.

Montana became the first state to put the new law into effect in 2021, making 18 states that now recognize the right to carry a firearm without having to receive government permission or pay a special fee or tax to do so.

January 11, 2021 By Mark Chesnut With nearly all news-watching Americans concentrating on how many millions of dollars Congress would send Pakistan for gender studies in the so-called COVID Stimulus Bill, an even bigger measure was passed that has far more longstanding repercussions. Just before passage of the so-called “stimulus,” Congress also passed the FY 2021 government spending deal. And true to its longtime pork-fraught nature, as well as special favors for many different interest groups.
