A campaign to save one of Belfast’s famous old buildings may not have ended with success, but the man behind the Save Havelock House crusade hopes it’s still not too late for the demise of the Victorian building to be a watershed moment.
As developers moved in to begin demolition work at former UTV home Havelock House, they have promised to keep an eye out for two time capsules said to be buried at the site shortly after the TV station started broadcasting in 1959.
