Art of Aging - WINDFM - 92.5 Gainesville 95.5 Ocala

Art of Aging is a collaborative effort of Marion Senior Services and Marion Cultural Alliance that celebrates aging through art, stories, and education. Whether one admits this or not, celebrating another birthday can be daunting, especially when the number continues to climb, but that higher number is a blessing and should be celebrated! This unique exhibit celebrates aging in photographs, lectures, and paintings by 25 Marion Cultural Alliance member artists over 55+. Oversized photographs of some of Marion Senior Service’s clients, by local photographer Ralph Demilio, are the centerpiece of the exhibit. The month-long exhibit is sponsored by Robert Boissoneault Oncology Institute and Urology Institute of Central Florida and Brookdale Senior Living.
