En amont du Tokyo Game Show, Nintendo a décidé de reprendre la parole avec un nouveau Nintendo Direct, qui devait nous présenter les nouveautés de la fin d'année ainsi que les jeux de la première moitié de 2021. C'est donc 40 minutes de show qui ont été diffusées, avec quelques jeux déjà connus à cause des leaks, mais aussi quelques surprises, et pas forcément celles attendues.
