It’s disturbing that so many of our state legislators are eager to defund our public schools. Their latest scheme is HB1393. This education-busting bill will allow arbitrary per-pupil “caps” to be voted in at Town Meetings. These caps do not need to.
In response to “Undeclared” in the Dec. 30 issue, it is a shame that New Hampshire legislators like Rep. David Love spend their time drafting legislation, such as HB 1166, aimed at restricting voter options rather than working toward sponsoring bills.
