We gave businesses and minimum wage earners plenty of time to review the increases and when it would take effect. While all supervisors spoke in favor of an minimum wage hike some questioned parts of the plan. One had concerns about tying futures increases to consumer prices. But the biggest fight may invo supervisors didnt do. They didnt add a lower minimum wage youth wage for those ages 1417. Im concerned this may end up driving more employers not to hire our young kids, and we really need to have these entry level jobs.
