BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ YWCA Central Alabama launches a new inaugural event called YW Allies, which will take place on Wednesday, May 12 at Avondale Brewing Company.
YW Allies will honor 10 men throughout Central Alabama who have advocated on behalf of gender and racial equity in their companies, the community or with the YWCA. The honorees will be announced on Monday, March 8, in honor of International Women s Day, to highlight the importance of men being engaged in the conversation around women s issues.
