Marietta College welcomed 41 students into the ranks of its newest alumni at its Fall Graduation on Sunday, December 10, at the Alma McDonough Center.The new members of The Long Blue Line encompass students from eight states Indiana, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and West Virginia and the United Kingdom. Undergraduate degrees were awarded to students across 23 fields of study.Marietta’s graduates heard remarks from President Margaret L. Drugovich and Provost Kathleen Dougherty.
Heidi L. Terry ’96 has been named Vice President for Enrollment Management at Marietta College following a national search, Marietta President Margaret L. Drugovich announced today, December 4. Terry, currently the Executive Director for Admission and Registration Services at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, Florida, will begin her duties at Marietta on January 8. As a member of the President’s Cabinet at Marietta, she will lead the College’s enrollment management strategy, which includes overseeing admissions and financial aid.

The proclamation honors the PA profession and the high-quality care provided by Marietta College’s graduates.Marietta’s PA alumni work across numerous medical specialties, including primary care, surgery, oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and more. As advanced practice clinicians, PAs practice medicine as members of healthcare teams alongside physicians and other providers.
A new ranking of the 2024 Best College in America highlights Marietta College at No. 304 nationwide based on student outcomes and graduate salaries, as well as No. 3 in Ohio for salary impact and social mobility.Released on Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal/College Pulse ranking placed critical emphasis on how much a college improves a student’s chances of graduating on time and how much it boosts the salaries they earn after graduation, among other factors.
