organizers from today s march. and margaret wong, executive director of amnesty international co-sponsoring this march in d.c. thanks for being here. thanks for having us. explain the mission of the march. it is quite simple and quite aligned. women are present, women have been leaders and contributors at every juncture, we are no longer to be made invisible. i think we will see that here today in sheer numbers. all of the issues that will be represented. what does that mean. is this connected to mr. trump s presidency, and if so, how do you feel donald trump made you invisible? frankly this is bigger than donald trump. this is bigger than this administration, right, and it is more about what we are for than against. populous fascism spreading around the globe. it is a break through for us to do this in the united states and the administration pushed us to
prepared to work with us. whether you are a democrat or republican, you know we have a problem in this country with racial profiling. i would hope that he would be able to bring about a consensus to move legislation forward. quite frankly, the trayvon martin case has put a national spotlight on this. the american public were outraged by what they saw as the investigation continues, i don t want to prejudge the investigation, but everything we have seen indicates that race had an immediate impact on trayvon martin being targeted. the end result was that he lost his life. we want to make sure that never happens again. that is true whether you are a democrat or republican and i would hope we would get a consensus on this bill and we will work for that. yes? the bill would not really affect people like george zimmerman who are on never and watch. is there any discussion of trying to expand to that? it is my intention that it would affect persons such as mr. urquhart is a morm
