GIBSON CO., Ind. (WFIE) - The Isaiah 1:17 Project plans to package 3,000 bags of hope on their âDay of Hopeâ on Jan. 17.
More than 1,300 Southwest Indiana children are currently in foster care.
During the transitions into foster care, they often donât have belongings of their own.
The Isaiah 1:17 Project provides Bags of Hope to children in transition to foster care across eight Southwestern Indiana counties.
âOn a day when a child is often losing everything they know and own, we are able give them a bag filled with age-appropriate clothing, supplies and comfort items that belong solely to them,â said Marcia Lambert, Director of The Isaiah 1:17 Project.
