At 4 41 the Oakland Police department was requested to assist b. A. R. T. With an officerinvolved shooting. Our Oakland Police officers arrived at 7th and chester. When our officers arrived, they learned that a b. A. R. T. Officer dressed in full Police Uniform had discharged their firearm. There were two adult males who were taken to a local hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds. We have recovered our crime scene technician is here and we have recovered a firearm from the scene. We know there are a lot of questions in the community. We certainly want to answer those questions.
