Metso, a key provider of sustainable technologies for minerals and metal industries, has secured a two-year life cycle services contract from a unit of Saudi mining giant Maaden for a gold processing plant at the Mansourah & Massarah site in the kingdom.
Saudi mining company Ma’aden has recorded solid results for the second quarter registering a 85% jump in its net profit which surged to SR4 billion ($1.06 billion), while its sales for the period rose 95% to hit SR11.9 billion ($3.16 billion).
Ma’aden reported that sales rose 95 per cent quarter-on-quarter to SAR11.9bn, bringing H1 2022 sales to SAR20.8bn, an 80 per cent improvement on H1 2021.
