Under tight security, the Manipur assembly session commenced on Wednesday, but ten Kuki-Zomi-Hmar MLAs, including two ministers, chose not to attend. Among the ten, Haokholet Kipgen from Saitu constituency in Kangpokpi had requested a leave of absence from the session starting on Wednesday.
