In a report Thursday, the Office of the City Veterinarian (OCVet) said 298 local hog raisers have been affected since May when the ASF was detected here. On Wednesday, some 139 hog raisers from four affected barangays received PHP5,000 cash assistance each from the city government, with the rest of the recipients set to receive the same aid on a later date.
