Manatee County has officially taken over the management and operation of the Bishop Animal shelter, with hopes to soon expand their services with the new and larger facility.
All pet adoption fees in Manatee County, for both dogs and cats, are only $10. All other reduced-price adoptions (pets residing at the shelter over 60 days and pets age 7 years or older are fee-waived; military, veterans and first responders with ID are fee-waived)
