How appropriate it would be for pride to openly recognize the connection between homo phobia and smoking by actively promoting pride as a smokefree event. Freedom from tobacco took a survey from pride attendees to determine how they felt about second hand smoke and although our questions were about outdoor bar palt owes the question is relevant here as well. 80 percent of the over 18 pride attendees we surveyd in 2011 said they are bothered by second hand smoke on bar patios and understand it is harmful.
